Lovely colours and composition – and I don’t need to ask what it is!
Exeter Quay is very historic and a popular gathering place with pubs and cafes, nice to walk around!
Love the antique look, but have no clue where this might be. I kind of think you’ve shown us a picture of this from another angle. I’m thinking of that roofed area. Also, is this before the rain? Wonderful photo, Gilly. ❤ ❤
The roofed area is the transit shed and what a memory you have Tess!https://lucidgypsy.wordpress.com/2014/01/04/walking-in-the-rain/
Ha ha. The grey matter is intact! You’ve made my day. I’ve been so worn out lately, I wonder I notice anything. ❤ ❤ ❤
It is Thursday night here 9:10 p.m. Tomorrow I will send out a notice I am taking a hiatus this summer. I need to catch up on projects, reading and polishing stories for submission. As well, I need to veg and rest and fill up as I feel I've been running on empty lately. ❤ ❤ ❤ I'm no spring chicken anymore. 😦
I know how you feel, life is just too busy isn’t it? There’s a fine balance between living every moment and totally wearing ourselves out. I’ll miss you but when you come back refreshed it will be great to see you, just don’t go too long. Enjoy your writing, one day I hope to have writing time!
Thank you, Gilly. I will miss your silent Wednesdays and Haiku Thursdays, and of course your walking tours and photography.
Stepping back is scary. I’ve been doing this for four years today (haven’t seen an alert from WP yet–huh) and need a break.
The reason for the hiatus IS for writing time. ❤ ❤ ❤
You won’t be gone too long will you? 😔💕
I’m planning the summer off, back in beginning of September. Anything shorter and I would make any gains. ❤ ❤
Okey dokey have a lovely time ❤
Thank you, Gilly. I will try. 🙂
Tonal quality handsomely offsets the stormy sky. Love it, Gilly
Thanks Cheryl, your photos inspire me!
Love the mood of this shot.
Beautiful! The sepia adds to the atmosphere.
Thank you, I need to try monotones more often!
