the 21st of pinktember

My friend Sue had her 60th birthday recently, so today we had a day out, as we always do for our birthdays. The birthday girl gets to choose the destination, and she wanted to go to Dartington for coffee and cake and then off to Totnes. Considering we’re at the end of summer the garden was looking gorgeous, but more about that when my life returns to it’s lower level of chaos.

So my pink square is the bract of yet another plant the name of which has dropped off the bottom of my memory!

Becky’s in a museum in Portugal, her photo is a bit like the origami I’ve been dabbling with for a could of days.

A touch of French pink

Hello! I’m back from a lovely week in the south of France, mostly Marseille, a really fascinating city, with a rich cultural history.

Thank you all for visiting and commenting on my scheduled posts, I have no hope of responding because I won’t ne at home this weekend.

Meanwhile, I’ve missed a few pink squares, so here’s one from La Canebiere, Marseille’s main street.

Marseille CanabiereIt would have been perfect i those ladies had been in the pink, but there you go.

Day 19 already Becky!
