OMG … I am back in grade school right now. The nuns in my grade school had the black habits and in high scool they had the white ones. This is eye opening. I don’t know how you were able to get the photo – but – good for you. ~~~~ : – )
I love REM. They have the best songs. This is #1 on my list.

Yes – indeed they were. Everything they’ve said about nuns is true. They were strict and I can never remember a smile from them. My first non-scarey experience with nuns was in Puerto Rico where the nuns are from a different sect. I may have to tell a tale or two. hahahaha ~~~~ : – )

Perfect for the theme Gilly! I was taught by Carmelite nuns whose habits resembled this exactly. perhaps the same order?
Thanks Madhu, when I was a child nuns were around my town and there used to be a convent school. These days I rarely see them but I suspect they are still here.
