One of my frequent habits is my lunchtime stroll at work, I just have to leave the office and get some fresh air and peace. I always have my mobile with me and often make calls because I can’t at my desk. Having it with me is useful, it has a great little camera and there’s lots to see all year round.
So here is my habit, snapping everything from flowers, leaves and nature, to firemen and my own sunbathing legs one day when it was too hot to move!
Does your habit include taking photos of robots and bagpipe players at lunch? Whatever ahbit you have share it at http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/11/08/weekly-photo-challenge-habit/
I wonder if he makes a habit of playing the bagpipes out in the street? Loved your pics, Gilly. It’s amazing what one can see on a walkabout. 🙂
It was actually on the hospital campus where I work, apparently he was asked to play for someone who was leaving their job!
I thought the same thing. Haha!
Gorgeous images 🙂
I love you’re gallery of your habit….I think you might be worse than me 🙂
Actually now I’m looking at it again it does make me seem like a real loony, hey ho !!!
Not at all – lovely selection of photos. Then again, maybe I’m crazy too. 🙂
I have the habit of taking my iPad with me everywhere and taking pictures. Lovely habit but one that sometimes makes it difficult to get going. 🙂

Ah but perhaps that’s the beauty of it, slowing down and noticing!
It is. It drives me crazy to be driving an pass “the perfect shot” and be unable to pull over and get it. 🙂
Great habit Gilly. And one that lets us enjoy your surroundings 🙂 Love the idea of saying goodbye to an employee with bagpipe music!
Fun and interesting shots! Makes me think I should make myself take lunchtime walks. I used to at my old office, but moved to another building and slacked off.
no robots or bagpipes included in my habit … your collection is full of fun Gilly!
Completely wonderful habit!
I’ve never been a camera bug but appreciate the way photographers choose to see the world around them, i.e. Gilly. 😉
A lovely collection, once again.
great collection of clicks. full of fun.
Getting outside to break up your day looks like a great habit to me.
A healthy one too. ~~~~~ : – )
What a great way to finish off your lunch break. The camera does come in handy.
you amused me with your sunbathing legs
– and the fireman running to cool your legs …
Oh, Gilly, these are great! The one of the rainbow and the persimmon (?) tree are my favorites. They are great photography.
Wunderschöne Herbstbilder liebe Grüße von mir wünsche ein schönes wee-kend liebe Grüße und Greundschaft.Gislinde
Hi Gilly! Lovely clicks for your habit of picture taking!
Absolutely agree that you have to have a break and get out at lunchtime! Nice snaps. What is your ‘phone?
It’s a Sony Experia T, my second Experia, they have great cameras 🙂
What a marvellous environment in which to take a lunchtime stroll! I work in a noisy, dirty industrial area – an outside lunchtime stroll would probably give me lung cancer, haha
Please don’t stop this habit!!!!!!!
My lunch breaks are usually behind my desk, blogging. 🙂
Ow 😦 Your lunchtimes are eventful. I usually take what I call power naps during lunchtime. 😀
