For Ben Huberman, in response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Ornate.”Β A photo of such a small part of the Sagrada Familia can only give you a little idea of how ornate it is. Or is it? It definitely isn’t gaudy, just sheer elegant beauty.
This is my take on ornate, join in with your photos!
I’m so excited about this challenge, not because of any pictures I will post but that all the submissions will be fantastic. Yours is no exception. Gorgeous image submitted for the challenge. π
Great choice, Gilly! Sheer elegant, indeed!
wow! yep that’s ornate!
Most definitely ‘gaudi’ π
Gaudi, but is it gaudy? No matter what the answer, it’s definitely ornate. Good one, Gilly.
janet
It looks gloriously elegant.
That’s a little gaudy isn’t it?
One cannot fail to snap a gem in the interior
of this beguiling building. Ornate?Certainly.
Gaudy, Gaudi, absolutely gorgeous! Happy weekend, me love π
Really stunning, Gilly. Gaudi is quite hard to beat. π
Great take and shot Gilly. Absolutely beautiful. π
Great shot for ornate ! I also love the light and cool blue color – it had a magical/mystery feel that was so nice too. π
You know, I couldn’t find “ornate” amongst my current photo collection. You’ve reminded me of the baroque cathedrals of Eastern Europe, although you question ornate as a described of this photo. I would too – it’s more of a pices than my conception of ornate would allow.
Sagrada Familia is one of the best examples ever of ornate, Gilly! I love it!
Beautiful capture of a building which dazzled me with its ornateness…don’t think that’s a word but I’m sure you know what I meanππ
You sure picked the right artist for this theme, Gilly!
Beautiful. π
I don’t tire seeing this Gaudi creation.
Well done!
