I really like this weeks challenge but will restrain myself to just a few pics!
Looking beyond the Petronas Towers to a whole load of tiny sky scraping buildings!
He made it ‘down’ low enough.
Looking ‘down’ from the top of the Eiffel Tower.
Come away with the raggle taggle gypsy-o
Different take on “down,” Gilly! But nevertheless, it’s great. And entertaining!
nice photos

These are wonderful especially the Eiffel tower. Sadly we did not get to a point to take any photos when I was consumed with a ridiculous panic attack! Next time maybe!
Never mind you can see photos of the view any old place! I’m fine with heights but spiders get me as you know!
these are perfection writ large – thx for the post that mentions instagram, and the stones, ah yes, you are a writer!
Ah bless you 🙂
Great shots!
Beautiful shots Gilly. I think my fav is the first one!
Thanks Margie and its my fave too!
Love the Eiffel Tower although it makes my head go swimmy I not good with heights! 🙂
Compared to the KL tower where I took the first photo its just a gentle downwards view!
Gilly—-WOW in letters 100 feet high. Those are stunning, gorgeous, sensational, breathtaking, splendid….you get the point!!!
I know, lots to expand with the week’s challenge.
So, you’ve been to Paris!? Just one of the best. The overlooking view from Eiffel Tower is a must-to-do.
Hahaha several times, Paris isn’t too far from England!
That must be comforting having the convenient of being close to the romantic city.
Great entry for this week theme Gilly
OMG … I am afraid of heights and I was getting dizzy.
Great shots ….
Great images for the challenge. You are quite the world traveller! 🙂
I like all the three photos, great choice!
The first photo is my favorite. 🙂
I’m down with all of the great photos…
Thanks
Great pics, Gilly – love the Eiffel Tower view!
The view from top of the Eiffel Tower is awesome. Like these photographs a lot. Great entry to this week’s challenge. Really nice post.
Thanks Arindam, this week is a cool challenge!
I love shots from the tops of high buildings and looking down on the patterning of a city. Very nice shots.
Thanks I do too, I find it mesmerising to be up there looking down on tiny ant sized people and trying to work out where things are!
Great pictures Gilly! I love the view of the city from the Eiffel Tower!
excellent shot of the limbo dancer … and great views … no good for me as husb cannot let me go near the edge!
the KL towers! crazy high!! my daughter was away last year touring the world for 10mos and saw them: her description? UNBELIEVABLE tall…and that’s a quote. Anyway, you can’t get more “down” than a view from the tallest structure in the world!
Great representation for this week’s challenge!
An amazing place, I was there for five days and had a room here
http://www.shangri-la.com/en/property/kualalumpur/traders with the most mesmerising view – not the one in the picture, that was taken from the top of the KL tower. 10 months of travel, your daughter is a lucky girl that must have been wonderful.
Lovely pix! The Petronas Towers is especially stunning. Nice one!
Fantastic photos Gilly. I love, love, love this challenge and yes, we must all be recovering from a case of vertigo. 🙂
