Come away with the raggle taggle gypsy-o
There are lots of intriguing doorways in Marseille. I found this one in the oldest part of the city, Le Panier, an area filled with unique artisan shops and street art, that was first peopled in 600BC by the Greeks.
This was the entrance to a courtyard studio and artists gallery.

The day slowly washes away at the Vieux Port in Marseille. Time to relax, breathe away your cares with a sigh and watch the magical light changing before your eyes.
See the array of colour and light that Amy’s sharing.
So you take a slow walk up the gentle hill that is Rue D’Aubagne,
take a right turn that looks even less salubrious, into Rue Estelle. Then leave the road, hop up the steps to the bridge,
and there she is, blending in so well, you might not even notice.

A couple of months ago, I went to Poltimore House, and showed you the crumbling condition of the building. As part of the efforts being made to raise funds to restore the house, they have regular events, both inside and in the grounds.
Wild about wool was the event that made me decide to visit then.
There were members of the Devon Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers.
Several felt makers, lots of knitting and crochet,
and even a royal wedding.
I’d never have the patience or skill to create work like this!
