A Poem Found
Today in Lyme Regis I bought a bundle of old letters in a second hand book shop. They are full of little gems of history and I may share some more at some point. For now though this is a love poem from the 1940’s. 
Isn’t this touching. Or perhaps you find it intrusive. If Ann is still alive she must be very old now, but as the letters were there for me to buy, I suspect that she and her love have passed on.
Rock Hopping Lyme Boys
Whenever I see this crazy sport I’m compelled to watch but I hold my breathe. One slip could be disastrous, they are so fearless, I don’t remember ever feeling this invincible in my youth! It’s the first time I’ve seen it in daylight but I still only had my phone camera. Have you ever tried this? or any extreme sport? I would love to see your photos if so.

I wanted to try something different, so I’ve cropped quite a bit of non blue from this shot.
It’s Dartington again, my second photo from there this week. Earlier in the year they featured some children’s artwork in the garden, it was lovely to see it gently swirling in the breeze.

Now, I’m sure the geometry was accurate in these three very old cathedrals but sadly craning my neck and holding a camera still and straight has made them look a touch wonky! Here is Gloucester cathedral.

Thursday’s Windows: Week 7
As it says this is the Phoenix, in the centre of Exeter. It’s a venue for arts of all types and for everyone. I was just there for the food last week though 🙂 a lovely cheese platter for £10.95, for two to share. As I turned up from Gandy street the warm glow jumped out and I knew it would be this weeks windows!
